Recently, a temporary labyrinth was installed in St. Stephen's. Made of painters tape it is in the apse area of the church (behind the large altar).
A labyrinth is a single path or unicursal tool for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation. Labyrinths are thought to enhance right brain activity. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth is designed for ease of navigation, and it is impossible to get lost within one.
A prayer labyrinth is a labyrinth used to facilitate prayer, meditation, spiritual transformation, and/or global unity.
We invite you to experience the labyrinth in
whatever manner you choose. There is no right or wrong way to walk, skip, or run on a labyrinth.
